Gli ex voto dipinti costituiscono un oggetto cultuale dalla lunga storia. Esempi di questa tipologia di ex voto, ampiamente in uso fino a tutto il xix secolo, e oggi in minor misura, nel Meridione d’Italia e in altre regioni del Sud Europa, sono infatti già attestati nel mondo classico (pinakes, tabellea pictae). Nel passaggio tra mondo «pagano» e mondo «cristiano», nel mutare dei referenti divini e delle teologie, si osserva una continuità dei simboli rituali e delle pratiche votive e, più in generale, una significativa persistenza delle forme, delle funzioni e dei significati cultuali delle immagini in ambito religioso. Based on an ethnographic approach, this paper explores how members of a new age spiritual movement known as ?Llave Mariana? (LLM) build and experience their bodies. At the same time, it develops a thick description of their ritual practices and later it analyzes, delving fundamentally into the phenomenological perspective, how these members shape and transform their forms of self-perception, experience, and representation of others and the environment. Finally, it considers the implications these spiritual practices have in the search and consolidation of alternative ways of being-in-the-world

The paper aims to reassess the entire architectural and archaeological evidence of the southern part of the sanctuary of Zeus Olympios. This includes the oikos near the SE corner of the big temple (with two building phases dated respectively to the mid-6th century and to the first half of the 5th century), and the area with a large pool and two halls located to the south. This is equipped with a complex drainage system connected with two big cisterns. All these structures can now be referred to as a coherent building program carried out from 480 to 450 B.C.
